Texecom Com-ip Module

Featured Replies

I successfully installed the Texecom comIP module. I can communicate with it via the Wintex software. But I would like to ask you some questions concerning the 'advanced' set-up of it. When I connect to it via a http browser (IE, Firefox, ...) I got the examples page displayed and it claims to be remotely controlable: events, keypad, ... unfortunately I do not find any information to get that up and running, and the page itself refers to "For more information on web page applications, please contact your installation company or distributor". Contacting support at texecom by e-mail did not work so far, and contacting the distributor gave as response pls contact texecom support. So this is why I post it over here and I hope somebody can help me with this.

Kind regards,

HDB

Hi, If you find out about this, I would also like to know what the results are.

Thanks

Hi

The Com-IP does not come with the Web Browser software enabled as standard. The software is only for demonstration purposes but actually works fine. You can get it from Texecom but they will take no responsibility for its use. Alternatively...if you know any good web designers, they could write an application based on the Java platform for you!

After having sorted out that it was my e-mail provider that caused issues, Texecom support helped me perfectly and I have it now up and running.
