Scantronic 9751

Featured Replies

We have been using this panel for a while and have quite a few in the field. We haven't to date used the built-in communicator but I have a job coming up that its suitable for.

One thing that is puzzling me somewhat, is using this communicator how do you make the control panel identify itself to the central station, as there is no place for a chip? Seemingly, its programmed with the telephone number to call etc, but I can't see a command that ID's the site anywhere.

Has anyone got any experience of this?

Thanks

Andy.

the scantronic 9751 is a GREAT panel, not as good as a galaxy though! To enable the onboard didgi, you must do the following:

get into programming mode first.

option 101, then press 2 for alternate call mode

option 115 and 116 to type the two telephone numbers

option 117 to type the account number in, 6 digits only, first two must be 00 follwed by the last 4 digits of the account number from the monitoring station.

option 123, then press 1 to enable restoral reporting.

option 89, then press 1 to enable confirmed alarm reporting.

option 33, then 1 to enable eng reset.

option 50, to type in csid code.

Thats it. easy
