Hi I have installed a new Veritas R8 and everything is fine.The problem I have is I have added an extra RKP one next to front door and one by the back door which is the main enty/exit point.I have set each key pad with a different address using the DIP switch,the key pad by the back door works fine,however the one by the front door dose not respond,no key pad tones,unset light is steady green.....Any ideas what could be wrong

if i remember right from a previous post check the tamper switch first and or

did you power the system down when you conneted the additional keypad if not do that to allow the data bus to see the new kp

Thanks for your quick response.....it was a faulty ribbon on the RKP....system now up and running both key pad working fine
