I've got a customer who has a Abacus style wireless alarm. I say Abacus style because it looks like an Abacus 8 and pretty much works like an Abacus 8 in terms of its menus and options but yet it isn't badged up as an Abacus. I've got a sneaking suspension it's American because it use's slightly different phrases throughout the menus.

The customer has wireless viper/proximity sensors about the property and a number of them are starting to let her down. I need to try and source a few replacements if I can. The detectors seem specific to the panel but again I'm not sure of their original manufacturer.

Any ideas anyone?

So whats it badged up as?

DA did several wireless ranges the most recent is the 6/14 and before that the clasic range.

Yes, I think it was called a 'Classic' something or other.

I can't quite remeber, need to make more notes!

What do you know about the Classic and in particular the radio anti-vib/mrs detectors?

Bosch will still give tech support on it. it's one of DA's earlier attempts at wirefree we have some spares if you need any, and we do have a couple of reliable examples out there but given the choice Id rather have a hard wired system any day.
