Guest darkmagi
I had my Alarm installed by alarm engineer & it has been fine for the last year but i just noticed a strange fault with it, When the alarm is part/full set if i come in through my front door only the interior alarm sounds, even if i trigger a sensor while the interior alarm is going off after entering through the front door the exterior alarm does not sound, If i set the alram part/full & trigger a sensor in one of my rooms the interior & exterior alarm sounds, I have checked the manual but i cannot find a way to set the alarm so the exterior alarm sounds if i do not enter the code into my pad after coming through my front door, As this is the entry/exit area for my alarm its seems strange that someone could kick my front door in & strole into my house without the exterior alarm sounding. I just wanted to know if this is normal with this make of alarm or if there is a code i can input into the alarm to turm the exterior bell on if the front door switch is triggered. ..........Tom. Guest darkmagi
So thats what duel ply means, Thanks for that, I have tried it & it does work if i leave the interior bell sounding for 30 secs, I just wished that it would tell you this in the manual but i suppose thats to stop prats like myself from mucking about with things they know nothing about....... Thanks again for the promp responce Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/14318-scantronic-9448-bell-not-working/#findComment-140471 Share on other sites
