A long time ago the company i worked for decided to take on "Youth opportunity Scheme" (YOPS) Bad Idea.

Anyway it was my turn to take this lad out with me he had been with the company 2 weeks and i had'nt heard any bad feedback from other engineers,

we were off to a very up-market house where i had previously been working,(gorg 18 year old daughter) so was keen to impress.

I asked this YOP to feed a cable to the rear lounge door. and left him to it, about half an hour later i went in to the lounge to see how he was getting on. WOW

there he was spaced out on the sofa he had brought his own "stuff".

I had to drag him out of the house into the car where i left him while i packed up made some excuse to the daughter, and promptly dropped him of at the office where by now was OK.

what a day. he got the sack the next day, I (unwittlingly)had left his bag by the chair with all his "stuff" in it and the House owner had reported him the next morning.
