I have got a TS590 for a customer at their request after 1st fixing the alarm system. Knowing that I would be fitting a Menvier with an LCD keypad I took one of the PIR cables to the keypad to use one of the extra zones. On fitting the keypad their are no zones in the keypad just solder blobs with the two tamper solder blobs linked out. Does anyone know or has anyone soldered cables to these blobs instead of purchasing another keypad. Just out of interest ...obviously!

It works on keypads with both zone and tampers linked out from the factory ... but I couldn't possibly recommend doing it!

I was 99% sure it would work but just needed clarification ...not that I will be doing it, its just for reference!
