February 12, 200422 yr comment_7296 28.2 astra 2a sillyness  I've Got a Triax Zone 2 dish with a Thomson single LNB 0.6 whatsits & the signal strenth shows 2/3 (Same wiv the quality) (Pace 2200 shaddap I like it) Just changed the LNB to a Cambridge Quad 0.6 whatsits too, (Sky + Comming Soon) & the signal has dropped to 50% (Both readings) WTF is that all about ? umm I went to The Zone 2 version due to lack of signal & chronic pixelation during inclement precipitation....... But this New LNB seems to of set me back nearly to where I first started Anyone got any suggestions John Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/1400-satellitte-installation-gurus/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 March 26, 200422 yr comment_10068 have you realigned the dish because sometimes it is required but as long as you are still getting a picture and the signal is at least 50% of the bar i wouldnt worry as some of the stb have manufactured signals to make you think it is a better system Edited March 27, 200422 yr by Waza04 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/1400-satellitte-installation-gurus/#findComment-10068 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
