How To Change Pin Of Remote User On Galaxy

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Strugggling for some time now to get my remote connection work... :(

Default password does not seem to work.

Actually, level 8 user seems not to be displayed when looking at the user codes as engineer or manager.

Did not find too much info in the manual either. ( Except some mention of the keypad E, if that means it can only be done from a keypad with address E ? )

I do get an ethernet connnection, when looking with netstat, there is a connection on the right ports.

All communication parm are set to direct access, any time. I get a password denied message, so the only thing I think is that my remote user PIN is not the default anymore, but I cannot display this user...

So here is the 5 cent question for you galaxy experts:

- how can I see the remote user and change the pin on my galaxy 18 ?

Thanks for any help. :gimme:

Eric

I did, actually I use it more as a home automation system then an alarm system ( i do not even have a bell connected to it)....all sensors activate rio outputs, that are connected to a ocelot/secu16 module which send X10 signals on the electricity network to activate the X10 modules that control my lighting....

I now want to hook it up on my network for logging...but I ran into the problem described above.
