Allegra Bell boxes

Recently we have had problems with Allegra bell boxes over 6yrs old the plastic tamper rod that holds the rear box tamper closed has been misbehaving.

Took a couple of late windy night's to discover the problem.

The customer would reset system the tamp would close and give a perfect reading until the next windy night.

The plastic rod had become brittle.

Worth sharing with you all especially when called out at 2am and it's windy.
