CS350 manual

Featured Replies

Hi all

New to this forum and alarm installations. Used to installing HKC alarms which seem pretty advanced in programming. However, i am now putting a PIR onto a CS350 and the problem i am having is trying to set up a day/night mode for this PIR. What i would like to do is have the pir active during the day mode and not night. in the programming i can set the zone attributes but i do not understand the abbreviated descriptions, eg. IN,LS,LA,So,PG etc. I do not have a programming manual so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Dave

Thanks for that, so basically i set up all zones with IN & PG excluding the PIR, so that they activate on PartGuard during the night and the PIR as IN so it activates during the day (Full set)?

Anothe question for you. Have you ever put a voice dialler on a cs350. got one the other day, what a nightmare! Any tips on wiring?#

DAve

hi, just to let you know IN= inhibit, means subscriber can inhibit zone from system. as for the dialer, get it working on its own, before trying to connect to panel. Aritech outputs will only give a negative so if dialler needs positve then you will need to fit a relay fired from an output. Give it a try if you still confused mail me and i will give you a call and try to explain.

Regards

Adrian
