February 1, 200422 yr comment_6851 I am trying to install an Aritech cs350. This is DIY, and I am no expert. Problem is that on powering up the panel, the keypad displays "CS350 V3.3", but will not respond to any input. Manual says it should ask for languages, etc. If I am honest, I am not 100% sure when wiring the bell, what to do with the tamper loop. It is a bit confusing reading the panel manual and the SAB instructions. Specifically whether the resistor goes in the panel, or in the bell box. I have put it in the bell box(says to do this for standards). I have wired 4 of the 6 core bell cable into the panel at positions 4 & 5 (external bell) and at 6 & 7 (internal bell). Questions are... 1. Do remaining 2 go into positions 16 and 17 ? 2. Which is which ? 3. Do I also need a resistor across 16 and 17 in parallal ? Any help is welcome.. February 1, 200422 yr comment_6859 Yeah, I think all appears ok there. The Keypad wiring is pretty straight forward , A-12, B-13, C-14, D-15 I left the ID at the default which is correct for a single keypad, i.e. all off. Thanks, McD Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/1291-installing-aritech-cs350/#findComment-6859 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
