Guest andymarshal
Hi guys i have brought a house with a vr8 alm installed, i was told it was installed about 6 months ago. One of the key pads is in a real nasty spot and i would like to replace it witha flush mounted version instead. something like: http://www.alertelectrical.com/Burglar-Ala...eypad-White.asp will this be ok or is there another flush panel that would work? Just need to know before i start ringing round for someone to do it. Thanks Andy Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/12866-texecom-flush-mounted-keypad-question/ Share on other sites

The standard R8 takes only the LED keypad, which doesn't come in a flush mounted version. The R8+ and Excel have the option of an R8 LCD Keypad (not premier), but I am pretty sure this also does not come with the flush mount option. If you are set on flush mount then get a quote to replace the main control panel to a Premier 24 and a flush remote keypad.
