I just got a new (never installed) //.National Installer.// safewatch pro alarm. I have always installed my own alarm systems. But never a keypad type just key type. I wired this one in and as soon as it has power the LCD screen comes up for a second, then goes off. The "greenish" keypad numbers stay lit. Does this alarm have a code set by //.National Installer.// to work or is something else wrong? Why will the screen only lite up for a second. If there is a code is there anyway to clear out the battery or chip in it? Or is it no good and should throw it out? Here is what I have:

Alarm---- //.National Installer.// Safewatch pro 3000EN

keypad--- 6150ADT

sounder-- 875938
