Guest adrianf
As standard when installing 240v linked detectors we always use 1.5mm 3 core + earth "RED" cable. Just recently though we've been having problems getting hold of it. The wholesalers say there isn't much demand for it and they no longer stock it. I was always under the impression this was a must when installing this type of system. Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or was having the same problem. Guest G.J.M
you don't have to use red cable. Normal grey stuff installed to BS7671 is acceptable.
