  1. I appreciate that completely - but their costs have gone up. My salary hasn’t. So sacrifices have to be made. And supporting the alarm company is less of a priority in all honesty than taking my children to do something they enjoy. It’s one or the other…. there isn’t a setting in the alarm sadly - I’ve just checked. when the ivy was growing through the siren box at the front and I pulled the ivy down the alarm went off as it had a tamper fault. It let me put my code in to reset the alarm. Could I do the same with a quick battery change?! Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
  2. Hi We have a Texecom premier alarm and the hallway pir sensor needs changing. I resent giving the engineer a small fortune to change a battery (I just saw our electricity bill and mortgage rate rises! but I don’t know the engineer code…. if I start to change it and the tamper alarm goes off will my normal code let me reset it or is it an engineer only job? thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
