Thanks for the reply, it is for a friend who has been given it second hand but no power adaptor and I wasnt sure if the ms1000 was a plug in or hard wired thus needing a professional like yourself. As you have confirmed all the ms series are plug in i will tell them to get a new 3 pin adaptor. If not can it be hard wired from the consumer unit?

Were all the ms series, 1000, 2000, 8000 all plug in supply and not hard wired? All of the boxes stated 'easy fit'. I need a manual for 1000 but can only find 8000 manual downloads Hope you can help

So a 3 pin plug into a standard socket? 240 mains to 12vdc?

Hello, Can anyone tell me whether the power supply to the ms1000 control panel is off a 3 pin standard adaptor or hard wired from the consumer unit? I understand the ms2000 and ms8000 are powered from a 3 pin adaptor. Hope you can help
