  1. Definitely checked and heard the outside bell
  2. To do the Bell Test i entered the User code and pressed 9, as per the Eurosec User manual page 19. The bell test worked. Not sure what else it could be? is it worth resetting the whole system if this is possible?
  3. Yes the external Bell test worked, but the original fault is still apparent that if the system is triggered the external alarm does not sound.
  4. Forgot to mention the blue was stripped back as though it should be terminated somewhere. Thanks for the replies so far. Going to try this Troubleshooting : External Sounder does not sound Action : Use a multimeter or small buzzer across the Bell +&- terminals to determine if the control panel is triggering the bell. If all is O.K check the operation of the sounder by wiring it to the system battery.
  5. Bell test works and system sets okay
  6. Hi, After some help. I have 10 year old Eurosec alarm system, and when i went to change the internal battery i noticed a loose Blue wire, which i believe is the Trigger wire from the external alarm?. Any idea were this should connect to? I have also noticed that the external alarm has stopped working.
