EURO46 woes....
Yes they've obviously used the battery from the old alarm. Here is the battery from the front: No idea why it says 9ah on the back!?

Right, got myself properly into eng mode (found instructions). removed battery and all is still powered, I'll buy a new battery and try that.

EURO46 woes....
Ok, update. I put in the engineer code (no on screen confirmation that i was actually in eng mode?) Removed cover, no alarm. I was met with this mess (see pic). Upon pulling off the negative battery wire the alarm sounded saying 'control panel tamper, restore required' Now what? Anyone know of someone local to Hemel Hempstead that can fix this? thanks, Paul

Possibly on the hardware, the install was a cash job, the relationship has since soured. You think a straight replacement battery will solve the problems? Surly I can do this myself? I have a nest protect smoke alarm approx 8ft away.

EURO46 woes....
Hoping someone here can help me! Roughly 12 months ago I had our existing alarm replaced with the EURO 46, all has been fine until last week. The white metal box (control panel?) started making a low buzzing noise, but all continued to function ok. Couple of days ago the keypad started warning that the battery in the control panel wasn't charging, then battery critical, now its saying low volts, at this point the buzzing has stopped! I'm struggling to find someone to come take a look. Any ideas?
