  1. Yeh that could be done.... What's the plan????
  2. Yeh 1 door is the front and has a contact on... As does the back door. When you come down the open stairs you walk straight into the living area (zone4) pir.. You would need to walk into the small entrance hall to get to the panel but there is no pir in the hall... This area is covered by the open doored kitchen pir.. ..
  3. Sorry guys.... Will try to clarify... Downstairs is open plan except kitchen and hall with 1 pir in living area which is zone 4... When misses goes to bed... She sets area B.. which excludes all upstairs pirs, allowing for toilet runs etc in the night.. But alarmed downstairs as normal, doors x 2, kit, hall and open plan living area.. A while ago she was able to head down in the am.. And was given a short time to deactivate alarm (just like entering front door) BUT.. she mentioned to the alarm guy when he was here to sort extension, that when it did sound (pre pet friendly pir's) clearly at the time just from the unit that it was quite and she could not hear it upstairs as the bell did not sound.. Now I'm guessing that was comm 61, and house security was set low due to this... He made some changes (again guessing comm61) which now alarms instantly on detection... With no delay.. The Misses hates this.... But am I guessing that it's 1 or the other!! Not both..... Unless I'm still missing something??? Thanks. Mark
  4. The pir picking up on entry is zone 4. And nothing I do allows an entry delay, just like coming in the front door..
  5. Ok sadly alarm still sounds as soon as you enter the area... There is no deactivate time for the B set. More help???? Mark
  6. Thank you all for your replies, most of which went straight over my head..... Sorry. But TIMMO 61.... looking at comm 61.. The setting was 0, and I've now changed it to 1. Which seems to make sense. As the alarm gave you no time to put the unset code in before it armed and sounded, I work away and the misses uses it as a safety thing and it was just a pain in the morning that she wakes the whole close with the bell sounding, hopefully now she will have 45 secs to disarm. Will test and report.
  7. Hi everyone.. I'm really sorry if this is a reg question but after 30-40 mins of trawling the forums looking... I just figured I'd post.. So.. We have this alarm and am happy with its use and functions.. I'm the home owner and have a limited understanding of the panel and its workings.. We do have the installation code so can work on it.. We would like to delay the alarm triggering when returning down stairs when setting just the downstairs area on a night time.. I set it using area B.. And it gives us time to get up the stairs and out of view.. In the morning as soon as it sees us that's it... Boom.. Alarm, fireworks, spotlights etc.. Ok a little OTT but ya get my drift. Can somebody give me a step by step to put a delay on please??? Thankyou
