  1. I did check that funny enough and it straight to the speaker. Sorry I meant can't hear it from 8 foot, only when you a foot or so you can just hear it. Got my suspicions on this thing now. Any ideas what teletone is ? Looking at the sheet from the website it list frequency responce as 4khz not range of frequencys. I'm guessing this is for something else ? Phone tones perhaps
  2. Well resolved it sort of. The speaker is only on 4 foot of cable. Pannel in airing cupboard up stairs and keypad down in kitchen. After further testing is it actually working but very quietly. Can even hear it from 8 foot away. Tried the volume controle no diferances. It's a Knight Small Teletone Speaker , it's only small but thought I would get a bit of sound out of it
  3. hi all just replaced the pannel at my perants. all good apart from my internal speaker, no sound at all from it at all, it's a 16 ohm unit, Iv double checked all wireing and I'm in the speaker connections on th board, I have tested the speaker and it good, I have also checked the vol pot on the board and still no joy any one got any ideas ?
  4. Hi all I'm new here, i have worked in the industry for years but never did to much with honeywell alarms, i was a cctv installer for 11 years, mostly stuck to AV and CCTV, i have a Honeywell Accenta allarm to install on my parents house next week, all looks straight forward apart from iv read the manual and the 3 programs are confusing me slightly, i understand program 1 is everything, then program 2 Timed states it should be entry route and P3 will delay if an entry route is triggered first but if not will go off instantly. my question is i take it P1 uses P2 zones for entry/exit delay as i could not see how to specify specific zones as entry/exit? also I'm looking a setting up one program that just protects the Garage via a PIR, its gong to have 4 PIR's 1 Kitchen (this will be entry/exit point) 1 x Hall 1 x Back room 1 x Garage My Plan was P1 everything P2 Kitchen PIR P3 Garage PIR on its own. hopefully this would allow P3 to protect the garage only ? thanks in advance for any help
