Hi All,
Think it's sorted of a fashion!!! Got back tonight to find that the alarm dead, as was the new battery I fitted (
Re-checked all the fuses, which all seemed okay, then took the main board off the fittings to check for any issues on the PCB. Found ANOTHER fuse hidden away that I'd not seen, checked that and sure enough it was blown!!!
Luckily I'd got another fuse, so fitted that, but the alarm still bleeped 10 times (could that be because the battery is dead?) but has now stopped and the light on the front of the panel box is permanently flashing. If I disconnect the battery it goes on solid (again, therefore guessing that's because the battery is dead?).
Will the battery get recharged by the system over time now that the mains power has been restored? If so, does anyone have any ideas as to how long it'll take??
Also, I'd like to add my thanks to all you helpful people that have taken time out to comment, make suggestions and help me out!!!
