I have purchased a 9955 rfx expander for a 9750 but I cant find the 715r pirs but I can find the 714r and 713r pirs would these work I believe that they are the same frequency

Not 12 hrs, get it down powered then re-commisioned once the power is reinstated. Otherwise you'll be up in the night along with your neighbours.

I have received a letter from edf saying that my cul de sac will be having a 12 hour power cut I am worried about the alarm battery the alarm is a scantronic 9800 with 5 pyronix magnum pir's 2 scantronic 320 pir's a cqr integra I think bell box and 2 keypads any idea how long the battery should last?

It read in the manual that the internal speaker will be generating a quick two tone sound and the external bell will be pulsing I suppose its just trial and error it just worried me a bit

Hi I have bought a menvier m12 smoke detector and connecting it to my 9800 but reading the engineer manual it says it makes the bell box sound different I have a pyronix belle and don't really want to burn it out so I thought I had better ask if it's ok to do that

Garmin sat navs are pretty good but I have a built in one in my picasso maps are about 10 year old like the car so a bit useless or I had a tom tom one before it was nicked

Ebay would be an ok place to buy alarms the 9200 was a great panel I have one in my garage I would recommend a scantronic 9651 this would be perfect for you as you want an lcd screen or even look at menvier alarms they are also very good

Well there are plenty of options if you want an on board keypad then you can get if you want another scantronic then a 9448 would be ok or a gardtec but if you want a separate keypad (rkp) then scantronic, pyronix, honeywell galaxy, gardtec and texecom all make good stuff so use the makes from this post and look around and the pir's will be ok if they work.

I will be installing one of these at the weekend and I was wondering where to put it, the room has 50s metal single glazed windows but also has that internal double glazing stuff so would it be best to put it on the ceiling in the room or in the space between the window and the internal double glazing
