Guest Deryck Tintagel
Just about to fit new system and intend using Optex detectors. My initial thoughts are the RX40 but I have just thought that there is a potential problem in the kitchen having a combi-boiler in the field of vision of the PIR. So far I have been lucky with boilers being sited away from detectors but ... Should I expect a problem with the standard RX40? Would I be better with a dual tech sensor such as the MX40? Comments? Guest dale
I would use a dual tech, especially if there is a boiler in the room, as this may trigger the infra-red sensor, but it shouldnt trigger the microwave sensor.
