Guest aechlin
Hi guys I have the TS790+ and was wondering where in the Installation manual there could be reference to pulse the strobe on setting/final exiting of the system, is there a programmable output I can use? Would I get anywhere if I used the custom outputs? Guest
Programme one of the panel outputs (1 to 4 - output 1 is the relay output, output 2 is switched negative at 500ma) - to 075 using eng menu 1.1 this will confirm set strobe for a few seconds on full system set and also continue to strobe for any alarm conditions. (You will have to link in the -ve strobe feed that goes to the bellbox to the output you choose, and if you choose the relay output no1 youll need to give the relay a negative common first) If your not an engineer We cant give more specific instructions or any manuals sorry - unless your registered as trade, and also this is not a job for a DIY'er unless your in the trade as you could pop the panel and or yourself. CompostCORNER
You should be able to program an output as a 'customable' output. This means you can program more than 1 rule for the output. If I remember correctly, the rules can be as a set of 3 AND's or 3 OR's. An example of each:-- ANDs... You can program the output to fire when.... 1 Part Set A 2 Part Set B 3 Part Set C This means the output will only fire when ALL those 3 events take place. ORs... You can program the output to fire when.... 1 Part Set A 2 Part Set B 3 Part Set C The same rules have been programmed in but the output will fire if any 1 of the 3 events take place. I think you can mix and match too to create truly custom outputs. Been a while since I've programmed a custom output on a TS790 but it is straight forwards. Obviously, you replace the 3 rules (Part Set A, B and C ect..), for any of the standard output rules.
