divettri Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 It's probably got a tamper, these things won't do anything if a tamper is active, they even appear to have locked up. Clear the tamper then press Reset. Hi, I've just purchased a house fitted with an Accenta 8 Mini system & the previous owners didn't know the code for the system as they never used it. Unfortunately at approx 10:30pm while moving furniture in I knocked the face panel off the number pad & set off the tamper alarm & not having the code the only way I could get the thing to shut-up was to 'snip' the cables feeding the internal & external bells. The strobe continued to flash through the night but I presed 'reset' next day and now 'power' & 'day' are only illuminated. What do I do to reset the system & input my own code? Please HELP!
