Map Security
Hi All, firstly I'd like to say hello to you all and secondly what a great site this is and how it will persoanlly benefit me!! (well done to the admin team!) Ive been installing wireless alarms for the last 18months, gaining business from flyers / local press......Ive been doing two install a week which is not very much and hardly going to give a living BUT I also have a job in the electronic components industry...... Of recent I have been getting several enquiries about CCTV....to cut a long story short I tried the wireless 2.4GHz but these really are a waste of space....hence Ive moved on to fully wired systems....... I have a very experienced CCTV engineer who will work on a contract basis ,so its down to me to find /quote business and then let the engineer do the install. I'm looking for any helpful tips / product guidance...bearing in mind we are talking low end..... upto 8 camera/ DVR / internet access ect.. I have 5 jobs waiting to be done and need to convert quickly in order to secure..... My target market will be residentail and low end commercial....I also have a leasing company ready to assist on business Really I'm at the point where I wish to go full time at this business and give it a good shot.....With low overheads I'm sure this business can suceed BUT I really need to get more enquiries...any ideas on best return for buck on advertising..... Anyway thats enough for now.....only to say I will log in daily and you will all get very cheesed with me Regards Max Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/13279-greetings/ Share on other sites
Guest RICHL
Hi Max, My advise would be to have a word with your CCTV eng and fidn out what type of stuff he would install on these jobs, then go from there.
