Guest venture
Have just installed a system using a Scantronic 9651 control unit but when I try and leave installer mode the bell tamper message continues to show (the external sounder is a Texecom Odyssey 3E). Checked all wiring and even changed external sounder to no avail. Can anyone help....?????? Guest ALSEC
Is the tamper return from the SAB in the correct terminal on the panel? Also bend the tamper spring slightly up to make sure it is actually being held down when the lid is on! Deltaseven
Also make sure that when you place the cover on the bell-box, the LED's at the bottom behave correctly - should go from just one flashing to both flashing fast (if I remember correctly). This will tell you if you have a genuine bell tamper fault. The advice to bend the tamper switch leaf is good - but be careful - do it gently and just a little bit! +-edited for spelling-+ Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/10247-scantronic-9651-bell-tamper/#findComment-95615 Share on other sites

Can't remeber what the other meaning are but it's all in the book of words...
