Guest old-hand
Works on anything, stop being pedantic............. ( For internal attacks,as in egress to the interior of the equipment) Blimey its ISO night and cross the t`s and dot the I`s. Now i know why it was such a PITA There is a spray from most supermarkets that is for ants ect and thats good, unless its washed off all the time. But it keeps the ikkle ones from growing in the seals. Chorlton
that's just wrong. I assume McD's was closed or he forgot to pack pork pies. Calls himself a survival specialist and forgets pork pies, sausage rolls and scotch eggs, muppet! C.

TheEnforcer
No we cant have mace or pepper spray. Nearest thing we have is bouncer spray and that just stinks. (Like rotten eggs but 10x worst) Guns only include shot guns for game shooting or rifles. You can belong to a firearms club but you can only use .22 calibre so not worth it really. The firearms have to be left at the club. Join a club and you can get a S1 Firearms licence for most calibres fromm .22mm upto 7.62mm for target shooting. If you are rough shooting you can get a 12g shotgun with a max of 3 round capacity or if you are a gamekeeper then you can get a S1 ticket for most rifles (bolt) or shotguns upto 8 shots if you have that variation on your ticket. They dont always have to be left in a club ... its usually safer there and it means you dont have to get your house inspected once your safes are fitted. Unless you are Police then you really need to justify and evidence your requirement for a licence. Of course with the uniform comes Pistols, Assault Rifles, Shortened Shotguns, Baton Launchers and specialist munitions!!

SUBS
Wa are talking spider here ? Not trespassers or illegal imigrants. for spiders, talking about using firearms is a bit OTT. Never tried it, but how about one of theose high powere pump up water pistols ? I wonder if a whit housing would make a difference, spiders wont like being on a white background and therefore more visible to birds.

tonsai
i find not using cheap horrible cams with built in IR stops the problem redbull, thanks, thanks for the constructive response ;-) .... at last. I''ve been wondering about this for a while now. The spiders like the IR for some reason so if you have a seperate IR to the camera body they don't hang around the lense....right? james.wilson
correct they hang around the ir source. They hang around it as it attracts flies, moths etc. Anything external will attract spiders, just like windows do etc. But adding a light source makes it much much worse. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
