Is there a text only dialler?

yup will do chaps. Have now decided on the texecom speech only dialler. Should be ok.

Personally i think if you dont have your system linked up to a monitoring station, then you should at least have a dialler imo.

Most of the times neigbours etc will not phone the police thinking its a false alarm. At least if you have a dialler you can be informed of whats happened. And either you yourself can attend or phone a neighbour to at least investigate.

No point having the thing blaring away and noone doing anything about it.

Very true. And the Police don't respond to neighbours calling police if an alarm is ringing unless there is a sign of a break-in.

Indeed they do although you need a pc to program the thing
