ryan2323 Posted July 22, 2022 Share Posted July 22, 2022 Hi all, I have a Visonic Powermax Alarm System for my home. After 3 years use I had the error code appear saying Z02 Low battery. I googled the issue and found , "Z01/Z02 etc - Refers to a battery fitted in a magnetic contact or PIR detector etc." I ordered the exact battery (GP Lithium CR2) from Amazon and after operating as normal for a day, the error code has come back again - Z02. I would replace all the device batteries if it's been that long, even if only one is showing. Do you know what device Z02 is, sensors are CR123. Only use duracell or panasonic now Cr123's I had number of panasonic (red & gold) have very short life's of weeks or months, Out of thousands - Camelion couple of weepy ones in the packet, the only failure in the field was a risco keypad melting ! Hundreds of Rapthor no issues, liked the packaging best ! I say the best quality lithium's batteries are GP, However I suspect the best & worst could well be the same stuff made in the same factory ? Adi Posted July 23, 2022 Share Posted July 23, 2022 I have been using panasonic for years, no issues. Had a detector go tits up a couple of weeks ago on a powermax plus, devices no longer available. But before knew replacements were not available, i did mention to the mega money client, might be worth upgrading the system! You know the reply lol. Quote I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
