James R
If your texe bell box doesn't sound with a Euro46 panel it's because the Euro46 bell o/p is +... texe Bell boxes looks for a neg so either connect your bell to strobe or use a very handy relay to convert bell+ to neg. sixwheeledbeast
Connect the bell to the strobe?... You'll get the bell ringing on a day mode tamper I would suggest find or make (relay etc) a suitable "-ve bell mimic" output Bit odd to have +ve trig default on modern stuff anyway tho... I think your mistaken. Neg trigger for both bell & strobe, negtive tamper return I've never inverted the bell or strobe trigger, IIRC I believe you can only invert the digi pin on the "rainbow ribbon" ? James R
Thanks for the replies. All I can say was that the texecom bell box would not sound with bell connected to bell in the euro 46 panel - in bell test giving + as soon as I gave it - it worked. That's all I can say. Had a look at the manual to see if you can change the polarity of the bell O/P - didn't find anything or i'm being thick Regards

I was thinking a non latching/very handy relay at the panel to convert.

Easy way to test most G2 Bells work out the pos/neg hold off touch the bell trigger to neg (it should sound) touch the return to the bell trigger (it should sound) touching the the strobe trigger to neg used to produce a tiny arc because of the loading of the xenon tube Quote Mr Veritas God
