Thought you had to be a registered installer?

Anyone register with some companies just blag it

Even with hikvision you can get away with it and blag it

But you couldn't get hkc software without being registered the software itself keeps tabs on you , and they know when you download it and login

Ok didn't realise it was that easy.

You think the software always linked to a email address? Just wondering how companies stop rouge engineers logging in after they have left the company.

Don't know , but now are you not talking about logging into panel?

As for software you can create more users and delete when they leave

Not sure how others work but seems to work for hkc

can be a dodgy transformer or high resistance short...you'd need to check the voltage across 12v/0v aux.. try disconnecting all the 12v/0v terminals and checking 12v/0v aux voltages again, if it goes back to the normal 13.5-ishV, then its likely something wired in causing the issue. add a pair of 12v/0v at a time to see if values change..
