slonina.waldemar
Hi all! Hope everyone are well during this time. I'm not newbie with alarms/CCTV but every day is a school day I found this forum while I'm sniffing around for a way to reset an Engineering code on Galaxy panel without a cold start. I know how to burn it down to the ground. But on this occasion I have to keep system settings Cheers
datadiffusion
Hi, welcome. If you're trade, you can apply to become a full member, but we don't give out defaulting info in the public, non-trade areas I'm afraid. slonina.waldemar
It's a "new" potential work. I don't know exact model. I know it's a n old galaxy panel. That's all. I never had to change engineering code so far. I know how to perform factory reset. What I found it could be a chance to use Honeywell soft and RS/Eth connection. But Im not sure about panel settings for connection. Normally I did settings on a panel to establish connection with laptop. Is it that "link" on RS232 worth to try in my case? Cheers
james.wilson
if you have engineer access and its an old galaxy then remote comms is on by default. If newer one then it will be on manager auth iirc.
