You need to program (and use) part set for nights then, this does not mean you cannot have full coverage, just that the behaviour of some zones is different at night, e.g. not an instant alarm but a delayed one.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

You can program systems to do whatever you need but the best solution is using the part set.

The correct term for Texecom panels is "Guard Access" or "Inhibited Entry".

You will need to reprogram the Part set function for Zone 2 to be Entry/Exit and the full set for Zone 2 to be Inhibited Entry
