datadiffusion
IIRC haven't Elmdene Rapiers used both PCB and bridge methods over the years? timeserved
These use to be popular in the 90's for those of us who remember the good old expanding foam attacks.
aissecur
I recall removing a few older bells that have a wired lug attached to one of the rear bell box back plate screws (would be protection against the bell being ripped off the wall) The wiring was linked to the tamper circuit. Amps
I remember a old skool metal double skin bell box with drill tamper and a pendulum fitted inside in case anyone gave it a whack! Funny how attitudes have changed over the years.

james.wilson
Why would you want to. A bell is a type of signalling just use more than 1 and better signalling. The bell usnt what deters intruders its the fear of getting caught. If Noone hears the bell Noone will respond etc etc Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. datadiffusion
I am struggling to work out what box it was, was it one like this ressurected classic, but the deeper version...? https://www.bentleysecurity.com/product/classical-sounder/ Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

datadiffusion
I've got a strange sounder at home, it's a Scanny eurobell plastic case with strobe upgrade for sure, but with a high security, anti drill, thick steel cased backplate that I am certain is nothing to do with scanny... Have a feeling it came from a bank. Oddly the tamper switches are like the ones I have on my fruit machine collection* and even more oddly they are the type that have a 'cheat' position where you can pull the plunger outwards to make (with a machine) the central unit think the door is closed so you can playtest but still eb able to adjust stuff. *of 2 Edited September 27, 2019 by datadiffusion Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
