Does anyone know how an anti drill tamper works and how i could make one myself?

A bell with plastic lid can a have pcb with track which forms a 24hr circuit like cc wiring

A metal bell can a have circuit made between inner & outer cover which is completed by the drill bit

Can any of these be easily made?

I remember a old skool metal double skin bell box with drill tamper and a pendulum fitted inside in case  anyone gave it a whack!

Funny how attitudes have changed over the years.

Rapier?

Why would you want to. A bell is a type of signalling just use more than 1 and better signalling. The bell usnt what deters intruders its the fear of getting caught. If Noone hears the bell Noone will respond etc etc

It's certainly done well for an early 2000s sounder

batteries had failed,

metal backplate + inner cover

2 batteries,

2 pizeos

2 circuits boards

plastic lid....

would have been an expensive item in its day...

I've got a strange sounder at home, it's a Scanny eurobell plastic case with strobe upgrade for sure, but with a high security, anti drill, thick steel cased backplate that I am certain is nothing to do with scanny...

Have a feeling it came from a bank.

Oddly the tamper switches are like the ones I have on my fruit machine collection* and even more oddly they are the type that have a 'cheat' position where you can pull the plunger outwards to make (with a machine)

the central unit think the door is closed so you can playtest but still eb able to adjust stuff.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Not if they failed in 2001...

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
