Specialist Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) Well the Ideal abs arrived and have to say: I'm totally underwhelmed with it, nothing like Ideal stuff I've used in the past. This feels cheap & nasty, more like a kids toy to be honest. The tone generator or thrower as they call it uses a non standard battery which will be a pain, luckily the seller put new batteries in so I was able to try it out. Definitely not impressed, you have to be almost on top of the cable to be able to use the tracer. It was only a cheap thing where I bought it but apparently they're normally about £70, so would have expected more. Probably something else where production has been transferred to Asia.
