johnwestsussex Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 we had a power cut for more than 20 hours. since we are unable to set the alarm. on the pcb the following message is "power o/p fault" what to do? do we have to change the battery? apparently our battery is a 12 volts is there any particular precaution to take while we change the battery. I dont know that panel but lcd looks a bit dim. Jim Randle Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 We have had a few switched mode PSUs fail. Texecom say its due to mains problems but they should be more robust. Their Tech Support said that they have "Over Engineered" the PSUs to get round the problem. I don't know if they are installing them in all new panels though.
