Problem is your budget, and any panel I would recommend would not really be aimed at the DIY market. Our engineers have all been trained on the panels we install and even then they get stuff wrong, and tech support will only talk to registered companies. As a diyer with a small budget, I would not recommend you blow your budget on the most expensive panel only to find that you don't understand how to program it and you cant get any support. security123
al-yeti - lol! no worries. Peter - I understand. In which case what DIY alarm could I get which would suit my needs and can keep out the odd crackhead thief? norman
Stick with the Texecom I'd say, very easy to buy online, easy (ish) to programme and they have excellent DIY support. Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
security123
Hi norman, if it's wired then it's not for me. I'm happy to hardwire the external siren bell as it'll save be trips on a ladder every so often to change the bell. Could you please kindly show me what you mean by creating a shopping cart with a list of items then?
al-yeti
Yes but not so easy on coms to setup diy
security123
Forgive me, I'm a bit confused as some say texecom is difficult to install and some say the opposite.....it might be easier if you could create a shopping cart to show me what you mean.
