NotHeardofThat1
Quick question, premier panel, I want to make an output flash on intruder. I know it's possible I just can't figure it out what combination of type and attribute it is.. Amps
Strobe?
datadiffusion
Strobe is just a steady output. Some sort of custom one with a variable, resetting timer set to 0.5s? al-yeti
Can you not just programme it as intruder and then change its attributes? To pulse? Or is that galaxy I am thinking of and doesn't work here
rubble1977
Galaxy can pulse
al-yeti
I meant galaxy dimension can have attributes changed when set to intruder for example
james.wilson
galaxy pulse will only give that output for what is set ie 3 seconds will give a 3 second output then restore. You can do it on an spc in 10 m/s on and of etc. dont know the prem at all to offer any but im sure a gal cant Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. datadiffusion
Pretty sure the prem could with custom output / timers forming part of that custom output Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
JB_
Output programmed as Intruder with Random attribute and then minimum and maximum random times both set at 1second? Errr... would that give a 1 second pulse, I dont have anything to test it? Kinda depends on what flash rate your after too.
NotHeardofThat1
Set as intruder with R on, timers set to min 0 sec max 2 sec, nothing happens
Rob Kirk
bit of a bodge but how about this combined with another relay controlling the power from the output? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NE555-Timer-Relay-Switch-1-300-second-input-DC-5-12v-TIME-OVER-RESET-Delay-relay-/221580876256?hash=item33973fd9e0:g:TC4AAOSw1x1URG0v

datadiffusion
Indeed no need for relays I'm certain, as to the exact method, RTFM OP I'd say. NotHeardofThat1
I've RTFM..... that's why I'm here. 1 - Use Pulse Period 1 When activated, the output will remain on for the duration of the ‘Pulse Period 1’ timer (see page 63 for details). 2 - Use Pulse Period 2 When activated, the output will remain on for the duration of the ‘Pulse Period 2’ timer (see page 63 for details). 3 - Use Pulse Period 3 When activated, the output will remain on for the duration of the ‘Pulse Period 3’ timer (see page 63 for details). As above, pulse is a hold on timer, then stays restored
datadiffusion
Read the bit about custom outputs / timers / cause and effect. Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
sixwheeledbeast
Random Attribute is the easiest way as explained above. Set Random System Timers to 1 sec and 2 sec then add the random attribute to your intruder.
