Guard Access On Texecom Elite 24

Hi, can you help me with an  Arming programming question please.
Texecom Premier Elite 24.  Wintex software. 2 keyboards.
One area only Area A.
No Area Suites set up.
KB1 in  final exit /entry zone.
Door contact final exit /entry programmed  as entry/exit 1, ommitable, Auto rearm.
Two PIRs in entry exit zone both programmed as Guard Access. Ommittable. Access. Auto Rearm.
Question:
When Arming at the keyboard near the final exit door I am in the sight of the two PIRs which  at the moment of arming are active of course. This causes an arming fault and indication shows the PIRs are preventing Arming. if these PIRs are set to NOT USED then arming is OK.
Is this normal or not as I believed that the Guard Access plus Access attributes prevented this. Or do these attributes only supress activity at exit after the alarm has been armed or reached  exit mode.
More simply put can I arm with the PIRs active.

i may be wrong but i thought you should be able to set and regardless of the zone programming you should be able to walk in front off any zone on exit and as long as you are out of the building and the zone has cleared by the timer end then the system should set. obviously on re-entry any zone that will become active before you get to the keypad will need to on guard access. I would attempt to arm the system, and then when it arm fails it will tell you which zone failed. check that the zone or zones in question are working as you would expect and giving the right resistance readings. the keypad tone ill change when you activate a pir when walking out but then it should still set once you leave the building.

this has been answered elswhere, there were two issues, 1 changed lots of settings for no reason other than they thought from reading the manual thats whaat they required.

The second issue being that the keypad on the entry exit route had no area assigned to it.
