PSE
That part is not set in stone how this will be handled, but there are a few ways we could do this Although it is going ahead now, Its still going to be tweaked over the coming weeks. This is why I want to post a small video of it up on here, so I can get feedback some on it.
GalaxyGuy
So, this is a set of random numbers that's generated depending on the engineers privileges against any account. The seed code and account identifier act as a unique identifier to select that sites stored codes ? I'm still struggling to understand the value of the seed code over a regular engineer website password to restrict access to a set of site codes. norman
There isn't imo, if they can log onto the portal they can access the seed code. Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
PSE
Call it a seed code, security code, Its just an extra level of security, An engineers username and password is ok, But why not have more security

PSE
Just picking up from this, This has all now been written into out admin side of our website I've been extensively testing it over the last 2 weeks and it works a treat Very simple process to go through, Engineer logs into secure site with email & password Engineer inputs a 7 digit contract number This displays the correct customers name This outputs a batch of random generated codes for different scopes In our master administration panel, This logs the engineer who has requested it Logs the date and time that its been requested On the first day of every month, engineer stats are emailed to me. This will make us a hell of a lot more secure and protect revenue I'm now ready to implement this and it will go live for all customers starting 1st October Edited September 25, 2015 by PSE

PSE
Its unlikely that i wouldn't get internet signal between receiving a job and getting to it. However if it was to happen, as Mr Happy said Just takes a quick call to the office to get it, And everything is logged for future reference Its been heavily used over the last week now, no issues at all in deploying it Were doing UDL Into a pile of Intruder to migrate over... Should of done it years ago
