Only the detectors of your previous

GalaxyGuy will these fit my needs?

Option 1

Honeywell Galaxy 2-20 Wireless Starter Kit

http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1632

£227

Kit Includes. 1 x Galaxy 2-20 Control Panel, 1 x Radio Portal RF Interface, 3 x Wireless PIR's, 1 x Wireless Door Contacts, 1 x LCD keyPROX Keypad.

Will I need anything else?

Option 2

Or is this a better fit?

Honeywell Galaxy G2-12 Panel & Proximity Keypad (£100)

Honewell Galaxy RF Wireless Portal C079-2 (£52)

Honeywell Domonial Wireless PIR (£37 x 3)

Honeywell Galaxy Door / Window Magnetic Contact White DO800M (£35)

(not sure if I also need a Honeywell Domonial LCD Radio Keypad c/w Built in Prox Reader)

If you need all the detectors, then the first option is a good deal. Don't forget to add 20% VAT on to those prices.

For your spec, you'll need to add the following which will add around £120:

1 x Internal 8Ohm Speaker

1 x 12V 7AH battery

1 x Unswitched fused spur

1 x External Sounder (Texecom Odyssey?)

1 x IP module if you want to play via the net

1 x 100M reel of 6 core alarm cable

And if you want remote RF fobs, then about another £23 for each user.

Hi, am I on the right lines with....

Texecom Riccochet Premier 24W Live complete kit

£322

Texecom Ricochet Premier Elite Wireless Digital Quad PIR

£53  (will need 3 so £159)

total £481

There are various ricochet kit options so make sure you get the one closest to your requirements. From memory, the kits only contain one smartkey so you may need to purchase another for the second user and some kits come with proximity tags rather than smartkeys and also an com2400 digi modem which may well be surplus to your requirements. The sounder choice depends on ease of wiring as the panel obviously supports wired sounders but a wireless one is an option if needbe which will take up one zone on the wireless setup. The PIR's are a good choice, but Dual Tech versions are available if needbe.

You looking for a professional installed system?

If so id recommend the hkc hybrid 1070. You can have a wireless keypad, keyfobs or app control

James, you are the second person to recommend HKC in recent weeks.

What's so good about this system?

The keypads look quite dated so there must be more that meets the eye.

Is it graded?

Does it has good functionality? (we normally signal using CSL Dualcom so it would be good to get your thoughts)

Thanks.

I saw the kit today, the wireless unit looks quite modern with onboard keypad and saw a new design for remote keypad, release is next year though but looks good

The app system was very good to like they took all the features from everyone else

Seems best to lock these panels though simple jumper marked default inside

Onboard digi, dialler , and various cards available including WiFi
