secureiam
Has anyone got this service, cheap 100Mbs services and voip. Not available in my area for around 5 months, but as you guys say it as it is wondered if anyone had tried it yet.
datadiffusion
Excellent, you give them your phone number and postcode, and, rather than giving you the information you want, get instantly told 'a rep will call you back within the hour'. Superb, just what I wanted, my number being given away to more salesmen, without any indication that would happen. The site looks **** too. I'd give them 6 months. Also, LOL how they duck out of giving away ANY tech info whatsoever, keep using the phrase 'air fibre' and 'very fast'. Yeah. http://www.6gbusiness.co.uk/6G-wireless-broadband-technology Edited August 14, 2014 by datadiffusion Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

datadiffusion
Bit of a blast, I'm sure we did something about them for GCSE business studies! matthew.brough
Same concept though, build a load of towers and deliver to the customer via radio. It was a spectacular failure in the uk although worked well abroad. Quote www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
datadiffusion
Yes, I think basically it worked where the equivalent of BT hadn't got wires in first, or places where the wires were unmaintained 1930s tat in a rougher state than Cliffs shredder... norman
Also remember Hutchinson telecom and Rabbit? Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
datadiffusion
Yup - although thats more of an interesting story. Rabbit launched a year after the 1st 3 had failed, and in Japan / China the service only stopped a few years ago. I think it did allow 2 way calls towards the end though. http://www.cntr.salford.ac.uk/comms/telepoint.php Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

datadiffusion
The 'checker' is just a plain old contact box with no intelligence other than getting hold of your number. And they never called me, thank god. By the way, just actually watched that ionica advert, wtf? Did they run out of money so soon they had to use 6th form media studies entries strung together to make it?
