Castle Care 1600 Alarm Control

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have tried page 13 of the manual however I can only change the Manager's code.

What I need to do is change the default alarm code, 1234, to my preference. Therefore, how do I achieve this ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, as Norman said but you have to be in manager mode to change the user code, page 13 read it again please, read bit about selecting user to change its code whilst in manager mode

Hi

So from p13, section 6.2

If I want to change the default alarm code of 1234 I do:

a - Enter 2222# (To access Manager mode)

b - Enter 11# (To change the default alarm code)

c - Enter my new alarm code

d - Press * to return to normal day mode

Thank you all, once again for your time and effort.

Hi All

I have managed to get the default code changed, finally.

How do I now program the alarm so that when I shut the main door the beeping stops and the alarm is activated ?

Do I need to program the exit and entry timers?

If so any help would be useful.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi

I phoned www.securitywarehouse.co.uk and they were unable to help me with the programming of the 'final door', hence no luck.

Therefore:

1. How do I now program the alarm so that when I shut the main door the beeping stops and the alarm is activated ?

2. Do I need to program the exit and entry timers?

As James said,,, You need to set the final door as a final or exit zone or timed zone can't remember myself which this will tell the alarm you have left the building

or set an actual exit time which set the alarm

Or the reason it's still beeping because there is a zone open, try setting watch keypad to see if it displays any open zones when there shouldn't be
