datadiffusion Posted April 24, 2014 Share Posted April 24, 2014 Had a problem today which hasnt happened before... Res customer on HH3 with BT infinity. All seems to work fine. Installed SW Dvr which was fine locally, dyndns working well from Dvr pov (I.E passwords and login correct). Dyndns site showing correct public ip. Opened up relevent ports on hh. Upnp disabled. Set ip to static. Rebooted all. Just cant seem to show ports open externally.... I know thats not of much help, but reckon bt have sorted out the PF issues as the last few ive done have been ok, couple of years ago, they were a mare at times. Ffs how lame! But the issue remains even when I tried on 3G. Another site suggest a true static Ip outside the BT dhcp range... But not sure if the hub would allow forwarding to an arbitrary ip?? I only read that afterwards. At least the site is only 2 min away and im going back in a week anyway. im on fibre with hh3, no issues, so i doubt its with the hh3.
