matthew.brough
With the request for the XP iso it got me thinking about nostalgic items and one thing I used to be very fond of was my Amiga platform. Over the years I collected loads of magazines and bits and bats of old computing. The list I have is below, if there are any fellow nerds that would like a copy of them I'll be happy to put them on the webserver if there is any fellow nerd interest? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/

Joe Harris
What size is the collection Matt? I'll take the lot to be honest for nostalgia for me and also for my lad who loves anything Amiga / Atari related. (I might also finally be able to put a name to a bit of cover mounted shareware that I have been trying to track down for the last couple of decades lol)

matthew.brough
if it was classic porn matts bandwidth would be so swamped the ip comms wouldn't get through I caught someone using our leased line for porn stuff. I still have the 10TB of files they downloaded onto my storage server. Because of the size of the mags that IP address isn't on our lease line, its just a FTTC with about 13Mb upstream in case it gets hammered. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
james.wilson
well I have to say the 10 meg up that tsi is currently on seems to work well enough. Ill move it to our bigger servers but there seems little point. All running on a little hp microserver too for now. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. matthew.brough
Fttc As you say, works fine even with the number of tsi users. Running it systems of domestic broadband in a garage seems quite viable nowadays. Especially as FTTC has up to 20Mb upstream. Just think, you could lead the way in an alarm signalling revolution by putting a couple of servers in your garage with a FTTC connection. No need for any of this expensive leased line stuff. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
james.wilson
I think like the old direct lines for signalling if you had enough servers dotted in different locations etc it would be more reliable overall securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
