Lwillis
Think Honeywell Galaxy and Risco have iPad apps as well for some of their gear, not tried it tho.
sjsturner
We just need to make sure we roll with the times on this stuff because its quickly going to become "standard" install that you have to intergrate to i phone ect at the end of the install. At the mo for us its with cctv, most surveys you go to they ask for coverage dvr cams and then "oh yeah can i have it on my phone too" Same will aplly to pretty much everything else i think
Lwillis
Yeah, we always sell the mobile viewing , supply a router and set it app up for them. As you say will be the same with intruder alarms soon.

james.wilson
Dont worry there are few manufactures that want to keep up with this. but the blogs show this was wanted a while ago. james.wilson
Smart phone access etc will become more popular but the regs need to catch up fast but there seems no will to make this happen. But we need more than just access via apps etc we need zwave etc device integration too securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. Boxshifter
Texecom Elites can be interfaced with Control4 (home automation) via a bit of software from extravegetables. http://www.extravegetables.com/products/texecom-premier This offers a keypad emulation for ipad/phone etc.
charepa
We have integrated Texecom with Control4 and also Crestron and AMX. I will try ot find pictures, but integrating alarm systems with home automation offers some nice benefits (other than ipad control) like a floorplan that shows which doors are open/close and movement around the property. Paradox is another company that has ethernet on their alarm panels and an iphone app.
Boxshifter
It's the way everything is going, just look at the CCTV market! Won't be long till alarm panels and DVR's disappear and get replaced by servers.
