connor2425
Did a upgrade today and took out a old AFA Minerva panel with EMI logo at the bottom, oldest thing ive ever seen! blue fornt covers with bulbs inside for indicators. Anyone be able to identiy this and would there be any manuals for it? Ive identified most of the terminals inside but im interested to know whats what. bagpuss_24
I have quite a few AFA / Minerva / AFA-Minerva / Thorn Manuals in my archive, from my days at Thorn. Even for some of the old 1960s "G-Type" kit too (doubt there are any of those still going)! Do you have a picture of the panel? It MAY be a "System 9000" or something. alonso
Bagpuss24 - any chance of you sending me any thorn/emi/Ada Minerva manuals you have via a private message? We have one of these old panels (4 zone) which keeps blowing bulbs every 6 months.
Oxo
Change the bulbs to neons.
mcelec
Personally I would be recommending a upgradeĀ

Think the bulbs are MES thread (or thereabouts) - you can get LED replacements for them but they probably work out around 10 years supply of the equivalent bulb!
